Physiotherapist
Abhishek Saxena is an internationally trained registered Physiotherapist, having completed his degree in 2005. He employs a range of hands-on therapeutic techniques such as mobilizations and releases with his clients. With experience in hospitals, Long Term Care, community settings, and outpatient clinics, he offers a diverse viewpoint on physiotherapy interventions. His experience includes patients with complex conditions, patients from ICU, surgery, medicine, neurology, medically complex patients, stroke rehab, fractures, and joint replacement surgeries. He has experience working with a wide range of patient populations including athletes, seniors, children and the general population. During his leisure time, he enjoys immersing himself in the beauty of the outdoors and pursuing bird photography as a hobby.
Roger Christian
Physiotherapist
Roger Christian is a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist with over 14 years of experience helping patients of all ages find relief from pain and restore their function. His career spans diverse clinical settings, including hospital ICUs, private clinics, and home care, giving him a comprehensive understanding of patient needs. Roger specializes in creating tailored treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He believes in a patient-specific, tailored approach, combining manual therapy techniques like Mulligan and Maitland concepts with modern therapeutic modalities to develop effective, evidence-based recovery plans for everyone from children to seniors. His goal is to be a true partner in your recovery, empowering you through education and supportive, collaborative care to help you return to the activities you love.
Dr. Osama Mohammad
Chiropractor
Growing up in Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. Mohammads background in boxing, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rugby, swimming, weightlifting, and track and field shaped his understanding of the demands athletes face, both in training and in recovery. With years of clinical experience, Osama blends athletic insight with the latest evidence-based practices to help patients overcome injuries, manage pain, and build long-term resilience. He has a particular focus on concussion management, guiding patients through clear, personalized return-to-sport protocols to ensure safe and effective recovery. Osama also integrates nutritional strategies to support brain health, healing, and performance during recovery. Dr. Mohammad has extensive experience treating post-operative shoulder, ACL, and knee rehabilitation, helping patients regain mobility, rebuild strength, and return to their activities and sports with confidence. Osama earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Brock University before completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States. He is committed to empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery while providing clear, supportive care every step of the way.
Dr. Ashley Young
Chiropractor
Dr. Ashley Young earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honours from Northeast College of Health Sciences after achieving her Bachelor of Science in Honours Biology from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. Dr. Young is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Integrated Needling and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Young’s approach to care integrates an array of evidence-based techniques including spinal manipulation, soft tissue release modalities and neurofunctional acupuncture to treat a variety of neuromusculoskeletal related conditions. She understands the day-to-day physical demands placed on the human frame and works closely with her patients to create customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Dr. Young specializes in preventative care, performance enhancement and rehabilitative care. Her mission is to be a facilitator in helping her patients achieve their personal health goals by creating an optimal state through functional restoration, pain and dysfunction reduction. Ashley is passionate about empowering individuals to live a life of purpose by igniting a passion for health and wellness that drives them to be the best version of themselves. It is her goal to have you moving longer and feeling stronger while increasing the overall quality of your life. When Dr. Young isn't treating patients, she is most likely working out, playing and/or watching sports. She is a major foodie and enjoys travelling with her husband.
Janice Pettit
Registered Massage Therapist
Janice, originally from St. Catharines, has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist in the Niagara Region since 2001. She has enjoyed being a team member of NEXT Niagara Health since August of 2023. Throughout her career, Janice has gained valuable knowledge through working with other Health Practitioners in multidisciplinary clinical settings as Janice is devoted to lifelong learning and continuing education. Janice enjoys working with all populations of people and conditions. Outside of her professional life, you will find Janice staying active through swimming, cycling, running, and weight training.
Emily Brooks
Registered Kinesiologist
Emily graduated from Brock University earning a Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin), followed by a Masters of Professional Kinesiology (MPK). She has been with NEXT Niagara Health since 2023 and has experience working with various populations in strength and conditioning, sports performance, and rehabilitation. Emily’s interest in this field of work began with her own athletic involvement in sports such as figure skating, volleyball, and track and field. She is eager to help patients reach their goals through injury management, athletic development, functional movement, and exercise programming. To stay active outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys training in the gym and hiking around the Niagara Region.
Robina Ohan

Ruby Ohan is a Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal health and wellness through therapeutic massage. She works with each client to provide informed, personalized care that supports pain management, improves mobility, and enhances physical function. Passionate about supporting each individual’s journey to better health, Ruby combines professional knowledge with a compassionate approach to ensure every treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to each client’s needs.
