Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic treatment has been demonstrated to be effective for complaints of the neck, back and other areas of the body caused by nerves, muscles, joints, and related tissues. Treatment by your chiropractor can relieve pain, including headaches, altered sensation, muscle stiffness, and spasm. It can also increase mobility, improve function, and reduce or eliminate the needs for medication or surgery.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps reduce pain, restore movement, and improve function through personalized, evidence-based care. Our physiotherapists support injury recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term movement health using hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and movement retraining to help you recover, prevent injury, and move with confidence.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is an assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body, focusing on treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain through manipulation to develop, maintain, and rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain.
Bio-energy Services
Bio-energy treatments include, but are not limited to, Pulsating Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF), and photobiomodulation through either the handheld laser or brick laser therapy.
Contrast Therapy
Contrast therapy alternates from an infrared sauna with cold plunge. The rapid shift between hot and cold stimulates circulation, reduces inflammation, and promotes powerful recovery for both the mind and body.
Concussion Management
A concussion (mTBI) isn’t a bruise; it’s a temporary disruption in the brain function. When your head takes an impact, brain cells stretch, chemistry shifts, and blood flow drops. That’s what causes brain fog, dizziness, headaches, and fatigue, even when scans look normal. It’s a functional injury, meaning recovery requires retraining, not just rest.
Neurofunctional Acupuncture
An effective therapy for managing chronic pain conditions, neurofunctional acupuncture acts by stimulating the nervous system to release neurotransmitters and neuropeptides throughout both the peripheral and central nervous systems. These chemicals help block pain signals (nociception) and essentially “reset” the nervous system, reducing its tendency to overreact to normal stimuli. The result is a decrease in pain and improved regulation of the body’s responses.
Red Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation (PBM), also known as red light therapy, uses a combination of red and near-infrared light to activate a number of biological processes. The NovoTHOR red light therapy bed is a whole-body treatment to actively repair cells. This treatment focuses predominantly on a protein in mitochondria to increase ATP and reduce oxidative stress, improve tissue repair, and reduce inflammation.
Aquatherapy
Aquatherapy, also known as aquatic therapy, is a form of physical therapy that is performed in a warm-water pool. Under the supervision of a rehabilitation specialist, individuals perform therapeutic and non-weight bearing exercises, often using an underwater treadmill, to promote recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Navigating health care can bring up a lot of questions, and that is completely normal. We have gathered responses to the questions we hear most often to make things clearer and easier to understand. Our goal is to provide helpful information in one place so you can feel confident moving forward. If you are looking for something specific or need more detail, we encourage you to connect with us directly.
Yes, we do offer direct billing to those who have extended health benefits.
Our treatment providers complete a thorough assessment that includes a detailed health history and a physical examination of the area of concern. This may involve postural and movement assessments, neurological screening (when indicated), and specialized orthopedic testing. Following the assessment, the clinical findings, diagnosis, and recommended treatment plan are reviewed with the patient. Treatment is initiated on the same day, and patients are educated on what to expect throughout their course of care.
We welcome both insurance-referred and self-referred patients for motor vehicle accident (MVA) care.
A referral is not required to be assessed by one of our treatment providers. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a physician prescription in order for us to offer direct billing.
We offer a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, concussion management, neurofunctional acupuncture, and recovery and biohacking therapies such as red light therapy, contrast therapy, and aquatherapy.
